I'm more than happy to travel if you have a place in mind that isn't in the area. I do charge a mileage fee of $0.70/mile for each mile outside of zip code 63701 that will be added to your invoice. When booking, just add the miles as an add-on option!

Yes, a nonrefundable retainer equal to 50% of the total balance is due at time of booking to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due the day of your session.

Plan on choosing outfits that coordinate well but aren't overly matched. Stick to the colors & styles that match your personality as well as the setting chosen for our session. Try to have haircuts about a week prior to our shoot so that any new styles have settled in & can be as polished as possible. Overall, make sure that you feel comfortable in what you're wearing. Layering options are fantastic for outdoor sessions so that when the weather changes you can adjust easily.

Color Palette

Choose 2-4 complementary colors that work well together. Neutral tones, pastel shades, or rich jewel tones are great options. Consider your setting: softer tones work well for natural settings, while bold colors can stand out in urban environments.

Coordinate, Don't Match

Avoid matching outfits entirely. Instead, create a coordinated look by incorporating the chosen color palette across everyone's clothing. For example, mom might wear a soft floral dress, dad a solid shirt, and the kids outfits in complementary shades.

Stick to Simple Patterns

Avoid overly busy patterns or clothing with logos, as these can be distracting (and can date your photos later on). Choose one or two members of the family to wear subtle patterns (e.g., stripes or small florals) while others wear solids. You'll also avoid blending into one very long person at the end of the day.

Layer & Add Textures

Layering adds dimension to photos. Consider cardigans, scarves, or vests. Textured fabrics like knits, linen, or lace bring depth without overwhelming the image.

Footwear Matters

Shoes should complement the outfit and location. Neutral or coordinating shoes are ideal. Barefoot is also a charming option for a beach or meadow shoot.

Additional Tips...

• Test the outfits out together by looking at them side by side
• Bring a backup (especially for children) in case accidents or spills happen
• Consider the background and avoid colors that blend too much with the location (like green in a grassy park)

Once your fully edited photos are ready to go, I'll send you an email where you'll have access to download both them as well as a complimentary slide-show of your photos. Turnaround time varies depending on shoot, but they're as follows;

• Weddings: Ninety (90) days
• Events: Three (3) weeks
• All other bookings: Two (2) weeks

Each session comes with your selected number of edited photos in a digital format. Once you receive your Gallery online, you can order prints in different formats you can order directly from the site (canvas, prints, magazines...there are a TON of options).

No unedited photos will be sent at any time.

Additional hours can be added to your quote when you book and are subject to availability.
